natural surroundings
In addition to interacting with our Laikas and the natural surroundings, you will sleep in a traditional Sami Tipi ; enjoy a traditional Arctic sauna and hot tub ; dine by firelight in Laavut, Kota ; and relax by a campfire under the midnight sun or starry skies.
We also encourage you to experience the healing power of Chinese drumming and acupunture sessions for the soul and spirit. The vibrations of the drumbeats resonate through your tissues and organs and activate your body’s healing ability.
Our sauna and hot tub sessions are especially restorative and available every season. Located in the middle of the forest, imagine soaking in the hot tub enjoying nature and listening to the crackling fire that you have built yourself.

physical and spiritual cleansing
The arctic sauna is equally rejuvenating and plays a role in physical and spiritual cleansing, especially in the winter when icy temperatures serve as an exciting contrast to the hot sauna, improving blood circulation and enhancing health. Later in the evening, you’ll find yourself slipping happily into the realm of dreams on a silky reindeer skin in our traditional Sami tipi.
For your added pleasure, you can also participate in activities such as hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, sledding – all while being coached for physical, mental and personal development.
At a time when soul-draining stress and debilitating anxiety has inflicted millions of lives worldwide, Swiss-Sisu offers an extraordinary opportunity to connect with nature, rejuvenate spirits, awaken senses, rebalance lives, quiet minds and take joy in unprecedented interactions with an energetic and incredibly loyal pack of Yakutian Laikas. Perfect for individuals and business leaders alike, we offer a precious time to gain clarity in their lives and explore their mental, physical and spiritual limits in our beloved country.
Our program packets are synchronized with the annual cycle of the four seasons in Simo. However, many locals would say that the year consists of eight seasons, each with its own special energies and nunances.
The only permanent thing is change. A cold winter, a warm summer, a colorful autumn and a light-filled spring signaling the rebirth of nature are the dominant features of Lapland’s annual cycle. In Simo, the region of the Botanical Sea Bay, the four seasons are complemented by the transitions that come between them, which means that the weather is in constant change.
